Have you ever seen mannequins leaning on lampposts, naked men hanging from windows, anarchic rats, destroyed telephone booths or cinema parodies?
Then you’ve had the luck of admiring the work of Bansky, the faceless author who writes about himself in a book on graphotism. 

Street art is becoming a worldwide cult. In California, there’s even the “Oasis of Murals“, an outdoor gallery dedicated to wall art.

This art movement has arrived in Italy, as well.
Apart from the much-discussed Dumbo - who leaves his tag on trains, cars and shop front shutters in Milan -
there’s now an exhibition on at the Auditorium in Rome entitled Scala Mercalli dedicated to the earthquake of Italian street art. It presents 50 talented artists who have shaken up the arts and upset traditional languages with their underground culture.

If you want to learn the tricks of the trade, you can do Urban Art training at workshops held by Mark Jenkins,  who specializes in plasticized paper sculptures.
