Sightseeing in Lapland
It’s getting closer to Christmastime and that awakens the child within me.
I always recall the good old days when I wrote my wishes in a “letter to Santa Claus“. It’s a pity he never answered me, sigh!
I could try it again but I’d rather go to his house in Lapland. Perhaps I’ll find a plane ticket under the Christmas tree this year.
“Dear Santa Claus,
as I’ve been a very good girl this year, I’d like to come and visit you in Lapland and see the northern lights.
I hope that I don’t fall into hibernation because I know that winter days turn into long dark nights.
Then, I’d like to go for an artic sled ride pulled by huskies and spend a night at the Ice Hotel”
While I’m thinking about how to finish my wish list, I can send Santa a message!
Maybe he can come by and pick me up on December 24th.
I can monitor his activity in real time from here, so I’ll know when his sleigh has departed and can be ready to go when he gets here!
And while I’m waiting for Santa, I could try building my own igloo.

I’ve been in Lapland and should I ever suggest a trip to a friend I would for sure recommend that place!I went there in summer(I couldn’t bear the freezing temperatures that wrap up the place in winter) and I visited Santa Claus’ village too. Though snow would get the place more fairy-like, be assured it is worth seeing it in summer,too.
