Mini Bags at the starting line
After hearing a lot of talk about the Mini and Finduck project, the results are now entering the market.
This spring, the Mini style is on the move again with the Mini Bags line, after debuting in tandem at the Rome Film Festival and the Pitti Uomo show in Florence in October 2007.
First to come out will be the colorful small tote (part of the Car Profile line) and the Mini Lounge. Then in April, the Luggage range will exit with two unisex lines, Go Fast! and Check Out, inspired by the Mini’s glam profile.
One line is travel bags with a lid and lined with the traditional Union Jack pattern and the other is an oval suitcase on wheels.
We’ll have to wait for the Mini Bags Fashion Fall-Winter 2008-2009 collection in September to see what else they’ve come up with. There will be three women’s lines (Pop Art, Mini bag and Not just a Tatto) of black and red micro-bags with the car front on them and colorful shopping bags with the Mini pattern. For men there will be Badge (or its leather version Edge), Black Jack, Circular and Tag Bag.
The new Mini Bags collection will be available in Mandarina Duck shops, in corners and in specialized leather and designer stores. However, if you don’t like window or store shopping, Mini Bags will also be on sale at Mini dealers.
So, good luck with the hunt!
