Flight
Travel, flight. We wanted to create a line based on a new concept that would be different from all the others.
Something inspired by our experiences, our marketing research and cars. A world that is in constant motion must be well-organized in order to function. Inside and out. When we travel, we bring the colors of home with us inside our trolleys. Cool, soft and informal images.
Details with impact. The focus is on the aluminum rods that create a strong image. The brand name is on the bar. Lightweight guards hold the wheels to the structure and the back is preformed for high resistance when being dragged.
Its aesthetics are the same from all points of view. It has continuity. It has stripes that look like car racks highlighting the pockets.
And for the interior. The pattern of the lining is like an airport plan with the names of cities that are important to us: Tokyo, New York and Paris.
This line is created with a resistant material called Più. With our own iridescent colors and matching transparent wheels. Its seams and double seams have been inspired by jeans and its zip pulls by a harness seen in a surfing store.
Flight with us.

Roberto - I have a Mandarina business bag I picked up on a trip to Florence. Love it. However, I have an idea for an even better bag. Why not combine both a business/laptop bag with a garment bag? Think of it as a 2-in-1 bag for a maximum of 3 day trip… I travel extensively, but most of my trips are overnighters with the occasional 3-5 day stint. A fine sportscoat, two slacks, and 3 dress shirts usually works for me. Throw in a pair of fine cordovan shoes and I’m good to go. The business/computer bag could be removable either by zipper, buttons or velcro for day use. Leave the garment bag at the hotel and you’re good to go! Zip all together and now you’re cruising through the airport in style with your Madarina 2-in-1 in one hand and a latte in the other. I’m telling you, it’s time! I’d be happy to be your test cast, so feel free to reach out for further ideas. All the best,
Mario
