Fashion Exhibitions
Browsing through art exhibitions can actually not be boring, especially if they’re about fashion art!
Do you love buying shoes? Have you already spent all your savings on your last spending spree during the sales season?
Well, from 23 September you can dream of being a Hollywood star like Audrey or Marilyn without going broke!
At the Triennale Design Museum in Milan you can see wonderful creations by Ferragamo in the exhibition “Salvatore Ferragamo - Evolving Legend 1928-2008″, which includes wooden shapes of famous feet and shoes from the Fifties.
I had a flashback to my childhood when I saw photos from “The House of Viktor&Rolf”!
Porcelain dolls will be the stars of a show at the Barbican Gallery in London until 21 September. They’re the same as our grandmothers’ dolls except that they’re dressed in haute couture outfits!
Let me give you a warning! If you come across a super-designed space shuttle, don’t worry, it’s not aliens! It’s just the exhibition space designed by Zaha Hadid for “Chanel Mobile Art”, the traveling contemporary art show organized by the Chanel brand to celebrate its quilted bag!
After Hong Kong, the show will go to New York and then Europe. Unfortunately, it won’t be coming to Italy…
