Eco-suitcases: the Joy line debuts
Mandarina Duck has just launched Joy, its new eco-friendly suitcase line.
The bags and travel goods are made from DuPont™ Sorona®, a renewably sourced polymer that is partially made from corn for fabric, which is naturally more eco-sustainable than nylon.
The suitcases are soft and attractive, and because they are made with Sorona® are a better choice for you and the environment.
Just a few numbers:
37% of Sorona® is corn-based, thus reducing our dependence on petrol
30% less energy is required to produce Sorona® than an equal amount of petrol-based nylon
63% less CO2 emissions than for the equal amount of petrol-based nylon.
Each of us must do our part to reduce our impact on the environment and respect the Kyoto protocol.
Joy is now on sale in Mandarina Duck stores worldwide.

Hello, i purchased a great suitcase from your store in Dusseldorf in May 07. I have used it about 4 times for international travel and now the zipper is broken. I am coming to Berlin this Sunday, is there a store which can repair it and get it back to me by Friday? I am trying to find someone to temporairly fix it now so i can travel, but would like it repaired properly. thank you for your time in advance, christine
