Creative hunger? Craving green?
Well, until 26 September, “Picnic” will be taking place in Amsterdam.
It has nothing to do with wicker baskets or disposable cutlery.
It’s a meeting of the most intelligent people in the world. Media managers, designers, intellectuals and free thinkers will get together for three days of conferences, labs and seminars looking for ideas to solve problems caused by climatic changes.
Just to give you an idea, one of the event partners is Green Graffiti, which proposes “clean advertising displays” created by using stencils and washable water-based paint to write directly on streets or walls. It’s basically street art without wasting any paper!
Let’s see who/what will win the Picninc Green Challenge, an award that will be given to the best green solution for reducing gas emissions on Earth.
Will our heros be able to create a greener future?
Let’s just hope that all that thinking power doesn’t heat up the earth’s atmosphere!
