The perfect flight
I’ve just gotten back to work from my summer holiday and I’m already onto my next business trip. This time it’s Singapore.
I’m on my way to the airport, counting how many flights I’ve taken and with how many airlines I’ve flown.
My favourite airline is Lufthansa, as it is very hi-tech and very functional, which is, of course, what you would expect from a German airline. Their latest innovation is the “Private Bed“, thanks to which you can adapt your seat to your every need. I hardly ever take flights that are less than 8 hours long, which means that I have to deal with serious jet lag. As well, when I arrive, I need to be rested, alert and ready for meetings, so I’ve now learnt to sleep on any type of plane. Somehow, I think that this one is something else entirely!
When flying from Rome to Hong Kong, I prefer Cathay Pacific because they have excellent in-flight service. They serve meals at anytime and have espresso coffee (a rare thing, even on Alitalia!). Moreover, thanks to Dragon Press Asia, I can fly back to Italy on any route and have stopovers throughout Asia.
And last but not least on my list is Asiana airlines, which stands out for its infinite opportunities to personalize your trip. It’s not by chance that Asiana is in fifth place in the World Airline Star Ranking and is the leader amongst internal airlines in Asia.
I have to stop writing now because my laptop battery is dying! This, however, will be the last time that happens because I’ve just ordered the brand new Power2Go, a universal portable recharger.
And how do you prefer flying?
