Backstage Fall Winter 08-09: unofficial previsions

Among the numerous e-mails to open when I just got back, I’ve found a great surprise: the backstage photos of next Mandarina Duck Fall Winter collection.
The shots have been “stolen” from the set with a cellular phone.
Despite the fact that the material is “unofficial”, we can capture a positive, ironic atmosphere.

New Mandarina bags has a background setting imaginary landscapes recalling neo-sixties or psychedelic cartoon style.
Geometric wedges, mountains, pools of water and stylized flowers are made by Kustaa Saksi,  a very famous illustrator I the field of music and fashion (MTV, New York Times, Guerlain are some of his clients…).

We’re just waiting for some shots by Bruno van Mossevele,  the Belgian photographer who made the last advertising campaign.

It looks like this will be one colorful fall. I’ve seen some great colors being used for fall so far, and I love it. I think these bags will be a great compliment.
