All the Mandarina staff wish you a merry Christmas.
Hello, my name’s Manuel and I’ve just started working at Mandarina Duck. I’m a visual merchandiser and I’d like to tell our Duckside audience about the latest shopping trends and innovative stores.
The new shopping frontier is likely to be quite different from the one we are used to. No more downtown stores with luxury furnishings and young, smiling sales clerks. The new trend is just the opposite! Unusual selling points set up for short periods with no signage. These are Temporary Stores, created not only to sell goods but also to amaze, to sensationalize and to attract a new target group to new fashion brands.

I don’t like being in the same place for a long time. Perhaps because my creativity is affected by everyday life. I even reorganize my furniture at home all the time.
Then I came across this web site and saw Tom Chudleigh’s tree houses. I suddenly realised that I need to live in suspension. In the air. In a tree.
I found the instructions building and I’m sure that my kids would be happy to help me!
So, now I’m reading about Tree Houses.
But before I start banging on some wood with a hammer and nails, I think I’ll get a professionally designed plan.
Meanwhile, I think I’ll try spending some time in a cottage at Michael Garnier’s Treesort in Oregon. Perhaps for next Easter.

The new Mandarina Duck Nissan Micra has just been released and it’s already sparked my interest as my car is starting to show its age.
Like all Nissans, the Micra has steering wheel controls for the radio, the automatic Blue Tooth hands free car kit and even an Ipod connection. Perfect! I’ll have no more distractions while driving and can take my favorite music with me everywhere without ruining my CDs.
Christmas is coming and everybody is being nicer than usual.
This can be explained by the following equation: goodness is directly proportional to the length of your wish list (this only counts for friends and relatives, of course).
This year we’re going to have only our favorite things under the tree. And we have Santa’s Little Helper to give us a hand!
Mega-healthy yoghurt machines and over-the-top peppermills won’t be invading our mini-kitchens any more. Farewell to granny slippers and being forced to wear a newly unwrapped pair at Christmas lunch just to please an old aunt. Never again will we receive more than seven copies of Stephen King’s latest bestseller, especially if we don’t like the horror genre.
The best strategy is to make a personal wish list (yes, I’m making another one, even though I’m sure that Santa’s listening to me). “Click” and “save object in your personal wish list” are going to be my new mantras when surfing the net.
The countdown has started to one of the most popular and well-loved holidays of the year.
The shops are decorated, the streets are illuminated, people are scurrying about with bagfuls of presents: big ones, small ones, delicate ones, hi-tech ones and even tasty ones.
Each one is something special for a special person.
And each one of us lives Christmas according to many different beliefs and in many different ways. Just as in Dickens’ Christmas Carol:
